David Devigne, Ph.D., combines a scientific and corporate finance background. David worked as a researcher at the Department of Corporate Finance at Ghent University in 2007, and at Vlerick Business School from 2008 to early 2014. Next to his doctoral research and teaching activities in corporate finance & financial analysis; he consulted on various projects for the Belgian ministry of economics, the European Commission and various small & large companies. He currently works as an Investment Manager Life Sciences at PMV (Participatie Maatschappij Vlaanderen) and as a postdoctoral research fellow at Vlerick Business School & Ghent University. His doctoral research focused on private equity and entrepreneurial ventures in Europe, a topic he continues to investigate.
He holds a Ph.D. in Applied Economics (2013), a master degree in Economics and Business Administration (2006) and a master degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences (2005).
