Paul Jacobs, Ph.D, has accumulated an extensive expertise in a wide variety of life-science and medical device technologies, ranging from biosensors to in vitro diagnostic assays, as a research engineer, consultant and program manager. He held positions at Heraeus Electro-Nite Intl., Innogenetics, Trinean.
He is inventor and co-author on several granted patents. Paul is a co-founder of PharmaFluidics and, as its General Manager from 2014-16, built it into a well-funded, well-focused company with a product range ready for commercial launch.
Paul holds Engineering degrees in Physical Electronics from the University of Ghent and Biomedical Engineering, and a Ph.D. in Applied Sciences (Biosensors Development) from the University of Leuven, which he complemented with several management training programs.
