Extreme robustness

Each column has been manufactured by etching channels and pillar arrays out of a solid silicon wafer. The column is perfectly bidirectional and contains no particles or frits. This prevents blockages and retention time variation over multiple runs. Run your entire project on a single column.

Increased column to column reproducibility

Each column is manufactured using the same lithographic mask, making every column identical. Replace µPACᵀᴹs with minimal impact. Obtain results over time and across laboratories, sufficiently consistent for big data analysis.

High flow rate flexibility

The column can be operated at moderate LC pump pressures up to 350 bar over a wide range of flow rates (100 – 2,000 nL/min). The maximum operating pressure is 350 bar.

To be able to keep up with demand, we’ve upscaled our production. In this process, we’ve switched to a longer and thinner casing format, allowing the columns to fit in a larger range of column ovens. The physical properties and chromatographic performance remain unchanged.
